Hi all,
First, since this my first post on this forum, I want to thank all you guys for all the information provided. I've been in the 'DVD-creation' business for a couple of weeks now, and this forum is simply great ! It provided me with a lot of knowledge that would be very hard to find otherwise. I hope I will be able to contribute something myself one day.
I have this annoying 'ok button' problem with InstantCopy. When I want to transcode my 'U2 - Best Of' DVD, this button remains disabled. Pressing F5 will enable it, but when I click it, the disc size goes beyond 5Gb and the button is disabled again. This certain title has PCM audio on it's main title set, along with two comment tracks in AC3. The extra's have one or two AC3 tracks. When I tell the programm to get rid of the comment tracks, they still are encoded in the output (when I throw away all the extra's I am able to avoid the ok button problem and go ahead). This makes me think: Could IC7 have a problem with PCM adio on the main title set ? Do others have similar problems when their main title has PCM audio ?
I.m.o. PCM audio is a big waste of space (and thus video quality) when going from DVD9 to DVD5, so preferably I want to replace the PCM audio with AC3, and then go through the IC7 process. This might also solve the 'ok button problem' for me. But I haven't been able to find out how to do that. Maybe some of you can give me hint. (I'd rather not go through the total re-authoring process, because of the comlexity of this particular title.
Thanks a lot !
