Sorry if topic have been covered, but indeed I've no idea how to search for it.

I have this strange problem: my Pioneer DV-535 reads the last chapter of my svcd (created with dvd2svcd) insted of the first, while on PC I see the regular movie. Infact, if I play numeric keys with remote, "2" to last are ok. If I play "1", it looks like last chapter, regardless of number (it may be "7", or "8", or whatever).

But there's more: if I play other svcd created with dvd2svcd, it reads them regularly!

I guess it's a problem of my program setup, or computer (Windows XP SP1 with two Intel 1Ghz). I tried TMPGenc and CCE.

Thanks for any help.

Post the contents of your Cue file using cut and paste don't attach it. It is a simple text file.

Yeah, unfortunately I was stupid enough to trash it, and the older have been destroyed as well....
Anyway, the only strange thing I noticed was that index 00 and index 01 were very close (2 secs). I tried to edit it manually, but I have no idea if doing this affects the .bin file in some way.
Do you think I should try and use "time" indexing (like every 60 secs) on vcdxbuild settings tab?

It should work either way, but from time to time there have been strange issues with DVD chapters. Most likely this is do to some strangeness in the original DVD.
If this is a one off problem then I wouldn't worry about it, but if this becomes a consistent problem then I might change it.

Personally I always prefered fixed chapters myself and I always used a 90 second difference, but really it's personal preference.

Well, thank you very much, I'll surely try this. At least, I'll be able to see if it's a dvd-chapter related issue.
