comp check 92% on one CD possible ?!?

ok i'm currently encoding Party Animals (approx 90 min) and when i did a manual comp check (jonnys method) i ended up with a value bigger than 90%! i was going for 1 CD!
anyway i was wondering if this movie just compresses beautifully or if i've done something wrong doing my comp test? i used the normal SelectEvery() command for avisynth (same as in gknot) and encoded with bframes enabled in vdubmod (YV12) and divc 5.03 1-pass qb @ quant 2
i've also redone the whole comp test ending up with the exact same value
any opinions?!?

Sounds good to me. Unusual, yes, impossible no. What resolution are you using?

Try a higher resolution to bring the value to around 70%-75% (something around 640xYYY). The movie is short and probably lacks high-motion scenes, thus it's very easy to compress.

Since you are using b-frames and the manual method, the real value is even higher (surely >100%)
If you enable b-frames, please, use divx5enc, the result is really more accurate.

i'm now going for a higher resolution, but didn't do another comp test as the value is good enough (i hope so at least)

@jonny: well i could use divc5enc but i know that the value is of approx 10- 15 % with the manual method and i've got no problem with it as it is just a way to know roughly how the movie compresses. if the if i get lower than 45-50% i'll go for more cds / mp3 instead of ac3 anyway...
