Utility that changes XVID header to DIVX

A few days ago I found a utility that would modify and XVID so that it would play in a DIVX player. I thought all it did was change some info in the header. Anyone know this utility?

try to find a tool to change the fourCC (it the sign of the codec)
normaly i think with a good hexeditor u can change the XVID to DVX5.

Nic's and my XviD binaries ship with Nic's implementation of "AviC" - exactly that tool which allows you to change the FourCC of the avifile.

The search function of this board (or reading the guides) would have easily unveiled this.

Koepi. You guys might wanna update the util with the Divx5 fourcc. And linking the two drop down lists might be a good ider. Suggest it to Nic.

Yeah, I know, I forgot DX50

As soon as I remember what computer I coded it on, and get the source code ill update it. Im not going to link the comboboxes though... ;) That might get confusing :)

Once ive updated the AviC prog ill update the XviD Q & A to tell people how to use it.
