Hi All,

Last year I managed to rip around 40 DVD's which I put to DDS-4 tape for what I at the time planned to convert to DivX. Now my position has changed and I actually have a Pioneer A05 and would much prefer to keep them as DVD's.

The problem was when I ripped them, I ripped them all to a single vob file per movie and deleted all the .ifo and .bup files to save space. Yes smart I know, but I didn't think I was ever going to need them as I was only planning on DivX.

My question is, is there any guides I should read for creating my own DVD's from having only a VOB file as my source? I thought the DVD-9 to DVD-5 guide would be a good start?

If you're lucky, then IFOedit will be able to do the job, especially if you only have the main movie, and preferrably if you know what substreams (audio&subtitles) that are available. I'm a newbie myself on IfoEdit, so I can't help you very much. You just have to read the guides from Doom9's homepage (http://www.doom9.org) and hope you find something useful. Or you can try using a real authoring program, if you got one with your burner.

Thanks hakko :)

After a bit of searching I actually found this (http://www.doom9.org/index.html?/mpg/ifoedit-dvdauthor.htm) guide which I think will atleast point me in the right direction.
