I have authorised several NTSC movies, and always I was using suggestion from various guides "for NTSC "drop-frame" option has to be used for all assets" and always it was OK. But yesteday I met a problem with "Knight's Tale" NTSC version:
after importing subtitles, they were out of sync at the end of a movie.
It was obvious, that there is something wrong with frame dropping.
Searching possible solution I found TRILIGHT's suggestion for Maestro about changing DROP_FRAME flag in video asset and replacing that in scenario before subtitle import. Since I am using Scenarist, it was not usabe fully, but I tried to play with that flag in video asset - no results. Finally I made a new scenario, defining for all the assets "non drop frame" option, and it worked!

So my first question is:
1. What are those NTSC movies, for which "drop frame" setting is not used and how do I know, for which one to use that setting and for which not?

BTW, I did check DROP_FRAME flag in VOB files for original movie, and it was 0.
So two additional questions:

2. Does DROP_FRAME flag = 0 mean, that re-authoring such movies frame dropping is not to be used?
3. Is there a tool to check this flag also in .M2V file (VOBEDIT I used fo VOB does not handle .M2V)?
