Hey,
I am completly new to this DVD backup stuff, because I never really liked VCD or SVCD (although I admin there are some nice quality SVCD's).
Now having a DVHS Recoder I am able to record HD quality.
Is there a way to backup a DVD to a DVHS deck using Firewire?
Well, I know how I can record ts Streams to my deck, so the question actually is ..
How can I convert a DVD to a ts MPEG stream? Maybe even upsampled to 720p or 1080i, which is not necessary of course.
But important is the DolbyDigital audio that needs to be in the ts stream file.
Anyone an idea?
