Windows 2000 or XP which is better for back-ups?
Currently I am running Win 98, but I am upgrading my system and want to know which operating system is the best for back-ups (encoding and authoring) and why?

WIN 2000 is now practically indestructible. WinXP is faster but less robust. Microsoft will fix it, I suppose, but it will take time... Win2k also supports less applications then winXP, but it doesn't relate to encoding. So if you are going to have a reliable system FOR WORk, not for games - win2K is a good choice.

I dont have any problems with games under win 2000 pro. I dont run XP because of activations, ugly ass gui, and micro$oft spyware.
