SVCD_settings.ini vs. dvd2svcd.ini

What is the difference between the two files? should I even concern myself with the svcd-settings.ini file? When making a svcd out of a dvd I should only load the dvd2svcd.ini file right?

Unless you want to edit the ini files to create specific settings don't concern yourself with them. The only change is if you wanted to do VCD and in that case load the vcd.ini file.

Whenever I want to add or change the ini in any way I copy the SVCD one, but I don't think it matters.
I never mess with the original.

I create a seperate file for each "type" of conversion I do. For example, DVDs, DV (from DV camcorder), VHS capture, and one for a general avi to svcd. That way I don't have to try to remember what the individual settings should be.
