Hi,

I have opened an Mpeg2 file and an avi DV1 file in Vdub. I then use Logoaway to remove the logo (natch) and output to a DVsoft codec AVI.

However after the first file (23mins) all of the next files have a blocky appearance after partial encoding. Is this a standard fault with the setup I'm using? Should I try a different codec?

How did you open two files of different codecs in VDub? If you´re little more accurate, i might be able to help...

Hi VJWitness,

I was using SpotRemover filter and had it at too high a setting. Any "spots" it was trying to remove resulted in the blocks.
