When multiplexing the audio MP3 or the AC3 with the video, I must always indicate the Interleaving?

For example, if with DVD2AVI extract an audio band:

movie AC3 T01 3_2ch 384Kbps DELAY -312ms.ac3

1) Have I to enter in Virtualdub/Nandub/VirtualdubMod in the menu Audio/Interleaving and to place these -312 in option Delay audio track by?

2) It is certain that with Gordian Knot he is not necessary this?

Thanks.

If you want to mux an mpe or AC3 to an avi you need Nandub or VirtualDubMod, the second one is better because Nandub sometimes has problem with AC3, for mp3 more or less no difference. If you want to use virtualDub you need first to add an wav header to the AC3 or the mp3.
You need to put -312 in the delay audio track, if required otherwise VirtualDub?nanDub/VirtualDubMod believe that there is no delay.
If you just need to multiplex you don't need GordianKnot.

Hope this help.
