need help! vcd 2 avi or rmvb

confused: I've several vcd discs of a teleplay which I want to save into my HDD,but I don't know how to convert them with the best quality and the least size,can any one help,please!

For I am used to ripping DVDs,I want to know if GK,Flaskmpeg and Vdub or Nandub can help?

Hi and welcome to the forum. All the way from Beijing, eh? That's pretty cool.

Since you already have video encoding experience, then you shouldn't have much trouble. Maybe Doom9's VCD To DivX Guide (http://www.doom9.org/mpg/vcd2divx.htm) can help.

hi i think you might want to take a look into the "Translation" Section of the forum (very bottom) there is a chinese translation project pending and afaik rapidly proceeding...
i think it could be the ideal place to check out how far the work has gone and also to get to know other chinese members that are around in the fora...
