As you may have noticed, the forum looks different today. We have two new forums, one for NLE video editing, and one for DoItFast4U and DoCCE4U. The former is to be used for all your (advanced) video editing needs for which there has been no forum so far, especially if it couldn't be done in VirtualDub. The latter will serve as a base to start the CCE/Scenarist based reauthoring department. The forum will eventually be used for a 3rd program which will allow almost full automatic DVD backups using CCE & Scenarist so stay tuned. Other than that there's a new category dedicated to capturing and video editing. With digital TV getting more and more important, DV cameras becoming cheaper and cheaper, and with dropping DVD±R prices we feel that in the future many people will also be encoding TV or camera based content to DivX/DVD/SVCD. We have already extended the moderator team to cover the higher posting frequency we expect, a capture guide is forthcoming and I hope that we'll have some digi TV and DV guides in the future as well (volunteers are welcome, I own neither DVB card nor DV camera).
Last but not least the DVD authoring forums will become more focused on creating your own DVDs, not re-authoring (that will be the domain of DIF4U and Co), helping you to put your DV videos onto a DVD with nice menus, create your own DVDs of DVB or HDTV broadcasts etc. Also, if you're really good with an authoring program that isn't covered yet or have some great idea to improve the existing (rather old) DVD authoring guides please do step up. You should first try out your guides on the forum crowd, they might be more forgiving :devil:
Anyway, I hope you share our enthusiasm about those changes and help us expand to new grounds.
