split 9 to 2 5 s ,,then ran disk 1 main movie ifo back through ifoedit to remove extras and menu but it also took off the intro screen and i kept the only vob listed wondering how keep the intro screen on disk 1 and still make the disk go straight to play ,,without a menu screen since all extras are on disk 2

Perhaps you need to clarify your question. What intro screen? Which vob? Have you looked at the ifoedit dvd9 -> 2 dvd5 guide? might want to try that.

the movie was the bourne identity,,,the intro clip was on ts vob before the menu and the movie was on vts 1 vob,,i didn;'t want the menu because there was nothing on disk 1 but movie ,,selecting anything from the menu caused a disk read error ,,so i just made disk 1 play when inserted,, but i would have liked to kept the little intro ,, i used vobrator to find the intro clip,,and stripped the rest from ts vob ,and replaced the vob that ifoedit created when i split the disk with the one i removed the extras from ,,,but this file is looking for other ifos because it is from the original ts,, i tried gettting vts sectors ,it will play ts vob(intro clip) without menu ,but won't continue playing the movie ,,, ,,,anyhow ,,i have read the guides ,,i have successfully split the disk and have made the movie work with out any menu or start up on disk 1 just put it in the dvd player and it goes straight to the movie ,,and disk 1 has always worked the way i wanted it to ,,it just starts playing the rest of the movie when inserted,,and it also has the menu and all the extras,,,all i wanted was to add the little introduction at the beginning of disk 1 but not the menu,,and the more i read i guess in order to do that i would have to author the the movie ,,and i ain't ready for all that yet,,besides i can't find the spruce maestro download anywhere
