I'd like to keep a spreadsheet of all my encoding info for each epsisode of a TV series I'm compressing. Now instead of having to enter all the info in I was hoping to be able to derive some formulas to promote my lazyness. Most everything is pretty straigh forward EXCEPT how is the Interleaving & AVI Overhead calculated?
Also ... is there a way to know the actual final compressability of the movie? I have a feeling the test is off for a few episodes and I'm curious. All GKnot seems to do is read the .log file from the encoding proccess but I get an error about determining the resolution if I try to open the log from the first pass of the actual encoding log.
