i received a lot of mails asking me why i decided to make m2a gui-like.

Is a GUI for BeSweet's progress indicator planned as well?? Or wouldn't it speed-up Besweet as it did with m2a??

Thanks
Raist

1. where's the quote from ?
2. progress indicator can only be included in BeSweet frontends who uses BeSweet.dll (BeSweetGUI is based on BeSweet.exe)
3. m2a ? speed-up ?

Quote is taken from the m2a-history.

M2a stands for mpeg2avipx3g.exe, a mpeg2-to-avi-converter.

Sorry, just noticed that the quote is incomplete: PX3 changed the progress-indicator from comm-line to windows-GUI because m2a was faster that way.

All I wanted to know is if the original BeSweet.exe could get such a progess-indicator as well & if it would result in speed-up like in the case of m2a.

Really sorry for my chaotic post.

Thanks

1. new versions of m2a would be using BeSweet.dll, so no problems here.
2. BeSweet.exe will always stay a cli tool (with zillion guis for the exe version or dll).
3. BeSweet's speed cannot get better by any of its frontend..
4. BeSweet has a 'progress bar' in form of timestamp counter..
