Audio out of sync

When I encode a avi file to a mpeg file with TMPGenc, everything works fine, and i got a working mpeg.
After cutting the MPEG file in 2 files, to burn, the audio is out of sync, can anybody help me???

Please provide your logfiles, as well as, the programs that you used to cut and mux.
