I normaly encoded using cce 2.5,and the quality is excellent (3pass).
But what is the quality like with dvd2one and instantcopy, is it as good or better? will it keep the 6 channel sound? which one is the best?

The sound remains untouched. The quality doesn't touch CCE, but is is better than most encoders.

Do your own test...take you less than 2 or 3 hours. I'm still doing 4 pass CCE for SVCDs till I get a dvd burner.

I can't do a test yet, I don't have the programs.

Just for those who read the thread and were wondering... The quality is much, much better than ReMPEG2 at a given bitrate (from either IC or DVD2one).

Which is better.

CCE, then IC then DVD2One, the REMPEG.

Speed wise

DVD2One (15-30 min) CCE, (1 pass here, about realtime), IC (realtime or sometimes close to it) then REMPEG (anyone still awake)

Ease of Use.

IC, DVD2One, REMPEG, CCE

Overall
IC or DVD2One (will not even start)
