ntsc to pal

is there a quick way i can convert a ntsc video to pal and then strip itso i can use dvd2one to compress it so it fits on a normal dvd

Via the search button, I found this thread (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=45459), which talks about several commercial and non commercial methods. I don't know if you've seen it yet, but if not, you might find it useful.
