xvid....divx mpeg1 ...

hmmm....why they always come with new codecs like xvid and divx
The only that i want is just mpeg2 like most people i think???Or not??Most people, wanne see the movies on his standalone player i think and not sitting in front of his pc watching a great movie???
So now if i have a xvid videofile i have hours of work to make it to mpeg2 compatible,adding subs,and extracting the audiostream and so on.....:D

I cant even begin to get into whats wrong with your post.

People want XviD and whats new, MPEG-2 is still current but very old.
You stick to MPEG-2 and stay out of the XviD forum if thats how you feel.
