Hi everone!
I tryed to process avi files with ac3 sound in Vdmod or Nandub but without any success. So what does mean that Vdmod and Nandub support ac3? The only thing i can do is to extract or add ac3 stream "as is"
But the same thing i can do with regular Virtual Dub. Maybe i am doing smth wrong? What is the difference from the point of ac3 support btween Vdub, Vdmod and Nandub? Thanks for any replies

Thats strange, normally VDub can't handle AC3 (see FAQ), I'm surprised it works...
What do VDubMod and NanDub tell?

If i open avi with ac3 in regular virtual dub, than i see "unknow tag 2000" in audio info. Than i can extract the stream with "save wav" option. The same thing i can do with VDMod or Nandub. But i cannot process at all, no matter what i try. Enen if i have only 2 channel ac3 (an not 5 channes as regular) and i try to compress it to uncompressed format audio->full processing mode, audio->compression->uncompressed pcm, i have error "the requested auido compressin is not possible". So the only thing i can do is to add ac3 stream "as is" and extract it "as is". And there is no difference if i use Vdun, VdMod, or Nandub. So i still don't understand what is the difference between them from the poing of ac3 support.
