Does your DV file "oscillate", too? Could you explain a little better what "oscillating" means?

Captured file is Okay on the computer.No oscillation(vibration). Only when i convert file using canopus file converter after svcd is created on the TV while playing, a movie oscillate(vibrate).

Does the picture jump up and down? In this case it would probably be the wrong field order. Or do you experience a weird "pumping" in the picture? This might have to do with the MPEG-2 encoder (although I never had this with CCE or TMPGEnc).

Its "pumping" up and down. thats why i used the word oscillate or vibration:).I always use cce for encoding in dvd2svcd or dvd2avi. But in this case both tmpeg and cce caused pumping up and down.

While creating svcd directly from pinnacle studio8 theres no pumping at all,but as it seems for me a bit worse quality than converting to canopus and using avi2svcd instead.

I tried second way to see. I converted captured file to DVD with dvd maker and then use it with dvd2svcd as dvd converting, but obviously it gave a bit worse quality, worse than using pinnacle studio8 but there was no pumping up and down at the end.

My question: Can u please lead me how to remove that pumping up and down.What should i do, coz ive never expirienced that problem untill now.
And my last question do u know why captured file converted with canopus dv converter and used with avi2svcd gives me better quality (for me it looks like cleaner picture than directly using studio8)than with studio8?

Don't know about Studio8 - I don't use it. Maybe its encoder is not the best.

If your problem is indeed a field order problem (which I assume), then use pulldown.exe from Doom9's downloads to correct the field order.

Search the forums for "field order", "pulldown", etc. to find lots of information on this.

In avi2svcd there is an option for selecting which field order you want but I can't remember which tab it is on. Maybe that would help.

Thnx! It was field order problem coz i used it upper and it solved the problem.No pumping up and down anymore. However it just pump up and down for 1 second when movie starts and then theres no pumping anymore. Is there anyway on removing it that 1 second pumping up and down or its not possible ? Or is it maybe CCE Encoder related problem why it start pumping for 1 sec when the movie start? Coz when using Studio 8 theres no even pumping when cd movie starts. I would like to know ur opinion guys.

I also use Studio 8. I have captured from VHS-c using pass-through on my Canon DV, via 1394. I capture as DV format first (bulky but fast). I use PAL, not NTSC
I then save from Pinnacle to a series of clips at full resolution (720x588) in MPEG2 format (4000Kbps) (CBR).

I can compress to SVCD in TMPG from the avi file or from the mp2 files to SVCD without problem. Nero burns the CD format.
