OK, XCD's can be played when they have a scratch on their surface, because OGM & MP4 offer Error-correction themselves, alright?
But what about making a copy of an XCD being scratched? Is it possible? Because I remember that copying scratched Audio-CDs is more problematic than copying a scratched DATA-CD, due to Mode2-recording I guess, no?
Any experiences on this?
Or is there theoretically no difference in copying mode2 & mode1-CDs?
Can a burning program copy scratched mode-2-disc without returning CRC-errors & aborting the copy, just ignore the error, as the Player does??
Thanks in advance
