DVD9 to DVD5

I just don't get it.

I guess I am doing something wrong here with Instantcopy.

When I 'convert' a DVD from a HD rip I get the menu about the resizing and everything and I can burn the DVD.

When I want to convert straight from a DVD the program starts to rip the whole DVD first and then tells me to insert a 8GB disc.

Somehow it just don't wanna compress the files.

What am I doing wrong here?

I think I figured it out!
Iwas doing the whole thing from my 2nd DVD player (an old Creative 5x) and the program doesn't recognize it as being DVD I think so it was doing a CD to CD copy.
