I'm running XP sp1 784mb ram on a IBM intellistation and I get a multicopy error with just about every movie. I even reloaded the system with just XP and instantcopy and still get the error. Anyone have this problem, any ideas.

thanks

That's the error that comes up in XP. Actully that is what the program crashes on, the file or program multicopy.exe.

Are you ripping the dvd to harddisk first??

Yes. I use DVDdecrypter in file mode and I do a ctrl-a to get all the files.

@rdefino

When running the software, does the video displayed in the window look strange? Ripped and blocky for instance? The reason I ask is that I also was experiencing problems with IC7 for quite a while. The video looked strange, but I figured it was IC's way of analyzing and ignored it.

In my case I eventually found that my video driver was causing the constant crashes with IC7. When I updated my video driver and ran IC7 again the first thing out of my mouth was a big "Duhh... I guess this inherent display was supposed to be clear like this all along..." The software has been running well ever since (except for that occasional annoying "SID per-user" error).

Just a possibility to consider.
