I seem to have cleared up every error with IC but that one. It is repeatable on the same disc every time ("Cosmos", Disc 2). This one is definitely a bug...
Here's the nearest reference I can find to this error:

It seems to be a related to a Demuxer error.

The "Owner SID on per user subscription" error went away by changing your resolution?

Well it's still there on "Cosmos" disc 2 on my system. I changed to every conceivable format and it acted identically.

hope you didn't think that post was aimed at you jdobbs
it was more to channie :D cos I've just done a search to find where I had read that thread and it popped in the top 5 when I done a search for 'SID' so obviously he mustn't have and I assumed you had read it
is that not the old British Gas ad, 'where's SID?' :D

Hi everyone!
i've already searched "sid error" in this forum, and i found out that some people have discovered one way to stop this error, decreasing or increasing the screen resolution, but i cant solve this problem like that. I've already tryed to decrypt with dvd decrypter in file mode and ISO mode, and the results are the same. I've tryed also with smartripper and clavdvd. In a strange way after trying to re-instal IC the Sid error has changed to "OLE error 80040218".
Can somebody give me a clue?

cesar_panter, did you install for all users or just one user only?
when does the error appear, as soon as you start IC?

I found this for you
ERR 80040218
Windows Media Player Invalid File Format Error Message
No combination of filters could be found to render the stream. (Error=80040218)
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=234019 (Jun. 10, 2002)
I reckon from that info you are missing the codec whatever it is
Dunno how to install it, but I will post if I find some more info
