I've downladed lots of divx movies from internet. Most of them, fit into a normal 700 mb cdr, but some of them don't. Let me tell u guys that I already, did the normal cutting in this divx files(beggining n ending of the movie), but they still too big to fit in a 700mb cdr.
Today, I tried to buy a 90 min cdr that surely would solve my issue, but for my surprise, they cost 3x a normal 80 min cdr here in my hometown.
I have 2 solutions that i know, but they take a long time.
1- Change the audio bitrates of the movie. (but I[m not sure how to do it)
2- Reencode the divx movie using some divx file predictor.

If u guys could give me more ideas or comments....

Thanks

DOH! talking about illegal files is very bad on this site. Before a mod closes this thread (if they do), i'll tell you to research mode 2 cd burning that'll allow you to fit around 800meg onto a normal 700meg CDR by removing a layer of error redundancy. Also, you could play around in virtualdub to clip some parts of the movie if possible. Both of the things i've mentioned have been heavily discussed on this site and i suggest you become acquainted with the search button.

edit: if you reencode any part of the movie (be it video or audio) you'll absolutely slaughter the quality.
