View Full Version : cutting avi in vdub; how seeing segment size?

Hi,

I'd like to know if it's possible seeing the exact segment size in mb when you are setting the selection start (and selection end) on a movie you are cutting in 2 cds.....

I mean, usually you can see the predicted size only when you get "save avi" (after selections are made) but not before.

Some help?

Use VirtualDubMod, it shows the size in the status bar.

sorry belfagor but I forgot to say that my audio stream is ac3, so I can't use vdub mod....

is there some version of nundub that let me see the size of segments in the status bar?

excuse me but vdmod works with ac3.I always use it

You cant play or transcode ac3 to something else, but direct stream copy should be possible.

I've even been happily cutting out HDTV commercials with ac3 during encoding recently using Vdubmod with great success.
