I just wanted to say thanks for your fine work with MakeItEasy and I for one applaud your effort. After reading some of the negative posts and name calling here and elseware, regarding your program. I can see why some of these people would resort to this form of expression, and felt compelled to post this.
It is more than likely because, in my opinion they did not possess the necessary basic computer skill to make the multi-program platform work in the correct combinations to produce a final outcome. I am by no means a computer wizard but with a little trial and error plus some tweaking here and there I was able to accomplish the said task with your program, [and had a lot of fun doing it also].
So once again THANK YOU and don't let a few unskilled users dampen your spirts, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK , if we would have let these kind of people dictate our future, we would still be swinging from the trees!
I have also purchase Instant Copy and like it very much. Plus I still make some B/Us the old fashion way. By re-encoding each frame and authoring , so for under 20.00 bucks US each for a DVD. I do this because I enjoy it not because I must, I thought that was the point? Sometimes it is not all about putting in the disc and pushing the BIG BUTTON......

and I agree with with Doggiedaddys views on some people's computer skills regarding DVD's and their structure

some want it to be as easy as backing up a CD, maybe one day that may happen (hurry up blue laser DVD's!, imagine 3 DVD's on one disc), but as of yet there is no real push the BIG BUTTON tool, there is still some work involved unless its a DVDR-5 you are backing up

IC is about the closest you can get for now

Yes I did rebuild -- and IC is working great now. It is my belief from what I see now that it was my Video driver (on more than one PC, believe it or not) that was the source of the system hangs. It is very obvious now when I see the area displayed during transcoding. I've also since changed my Video PC to XP during the process so that may have had something to do with it's current (very stable) state with IC.

The only error I still get is "Owner SID on per user subscription" when processing "COSMOS" -- I've read around and the seems to definitely be an IC issue.

I did a number of comparisons between IC and DVD2one, though, and I have to say that I don't see the quality differences that a lot of folks are reporting. IC is probably slightly better, but it is anything but obvious to me. IC seems to create a slightly brighter picture with a little less color saturation.

glad you got it working and it does goto show that sometimes it is the user system setup that may affect the programs, but at least done something about it, a little extreme but it worked :)
