What does AC3DelayCorrector actually do to the AC3 file anyway?
Does it add or subtract (depending on the delay, positive or negative) no volume frames to the file? So if it changes an AC3 from +32ms to 0ms, does it add 32ms of no volume to the start to keep it in sync if you change the delay?

This is a good question that I am also interested in. I am looking to put commercial dvd clips in with my home video from my minidv files. I want to be able to edit everything in adobe premiere and have one big output avi file and one big wav audio file that I can process for my dvd. If I take the ac3 file and delay correct it and convert it to wav to insert in my premiere project will the whole wav match the corresponding avi. ie for example if my ac3 file has -320 ms delay (which means as I understand that the audio starts 320ms before the video) what will happen to the end of the audio so that the avi and the wav are matched up perfectly. I need them to match up perfectly so that my total project will be in sync.
