It is a kown problem that an Ogg Media contenair can't have a stero audio track AND a mono one ???

I've a english audio track in stereo and the french one in mono, both in Ogg Vorbis 48Khz, resp. 100Kbps & 32Kbps.

These Ogg Vorbis are well played by winamp for example.

But in OGM file, the stereo is correct, but when I switch to the mono one, the video and audio is played at 2x (2 times faster).

I tried VirtualDubMod and Oggmux as muxer.

Have anybody a solution to mux audio & stereo tracks ?

i had this problem, the first audio stream in 44100hz, the second in 22050hz. the second stream was played 2 times faster. the cause was the sample, with 44,1khz in both streams everything was fine.

I tought the sample was the problem because I first encode the Director's comments @ 32Khz.

But here, all the tracks are in 48Khz.

One have 2 channels and the others have only one channel.

When you had the problem, were all tracks stereo ?

I´m also interested in that point.
Can we mux different audio streams formats (AC3 & Vorbis) in the same OGM? Only Zoomplayer can choose the audio track.
Can we mux mono & stereo tracks if the have the same Hz?
Why there is not an official ogm place with the format specifitacions?
Maybe is a good idea to make an updated ogm faq... :D

And YES, i´ve used the SEARCH button
