the maker of gordian knot the wef wrote me a guid ages ago on converting divx 3.11 to 5.02. he told me to calculate how many frames are in the movie and the devide the number of frames in 2 (in harf) then enter the value in to the rc averaging period frames. this guide he wroter me was 2 pass encoding.
I have decided now, from getting advise of people on here that i want to do 1 pass qaulity, as iam not botherd about file size as i am going to burn the movie on to a dvd-r, and aparently i will get best qaulity using 1 pass qaulity.
Do i have to do anything difent with the rc averaging period frames?? do i leave as default, or do a difrent method to find out wot numbers to put in there
