Just thought i'd share my experience with InstantCopy. I was having trouble copying One Hour Photo, it would get to the exact same spot 78% through and then crash. And after reading the general sentiment of the forum, i was having serious doubts about what could otherwise be a really great piece of software. However, thanks to a very intelligent doom9 forum member who suggested turning off the online transcoding database, InstantCopy worked like a champ. I couldn't be happier with the results!

Once again for people who are having troubles with InstantCopy's stability, try turning off the online transcoding database! I would love to give whoever it was that said that their props, but i can't find the post that i read that in! Thank you anyway!

Net,

So we can get it straight, as to what you actually did:

You unchecked the "online database" checkbox, right? Did you also remove discdata.add and discdata.adi from the InstantCopy folder?

Did you change anything about the way you processed the movie from time 1 to time 2? For example, on time 1 you might have selected only english language and only english subtitles but on time 2 you decided to keep them all.

Mr Bass is doing a great job here and at DVDRHelp trying to track down the issues. It's a great service to us all. I only hope Pinnacle is working as hard...lol!

Or at least reading what MrBass and others write.

Nope, didn't change anything except unchecking online transcoding database. Actually, i hadn't heard anything about these discdata files. Guess i have some reading to do!
