ok i have tried to burn crouching tiger 3 times all 3 times i burnt them they played video but no audio,
here my process, i ripped the dvd with smart ripper because dvd dycrypter would fail every time. the rip went fine,
then i used dvd2one everything encoded and i let it do its thing, (note: i donno if this is the problem or not, but i selected to have the dts audio not the 2ch audio, all 3 tries)
burnt the VIDEO_TS dir onto a dvd with RecordNow Max 4.5
2 of the disks i just burnt the VIDEO_TS dir onto the disk, on the 3rd one i burnt the VIDEO_TS and a Empty AUDIO_TS folder cus i read some players are funny like that,
can any help?
P.S. i also viewd the dvd2one vob files with Power dvd there were 2 files VTS_01_0.IFO and VIDEO_TS.IFO Both files play the movie, and both files play sound. donno if that helps any
thanks in advance

I burned a DVD recently.. the other day.. that had no audio. I had fiddled with the setting in DVD Decrypter and was trying to streamline the ripping process.
DVD Decrypter, the new version, works great for me everytime.
Use "FILE" mode.. select "settings" select "I/O" and in the aspi layer.. choose ASPI - WNASPI32.DLL not the SPTI- NT/2000/XP.NET If I choose the latter I end up with a problem.
First go to Adaptecs web site for newest ASPI layer 4.71.2 download.. FREE (http://www.adaptec.com) get the new ASPI layer 4.71.2 and install it. I did that the other day and have been playing with it on my Windows XP system, trying all sorts of different burns on NERO.. very stable and works or I would NOT be telling you about it now.
in the default of DVD Decrypter it will choose the main movie in file mode. Make sure you also (ctl)+(left mouse click) the VIDEO_TS.IFO and some of the other smaller begining files. Better to have too much than not enough. Default location on website works good
PRE - CREATE a new folder called MOVIE_BURN and create 2 new folders in there in all capitals.... AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS I've burned with and without the AUDIO_TS folder (empty) takes so little room and won't hurt anything, but may improve compatibilty on older set top DVD players.
USING DVD2ONE the source will be where DVD Decrypter put the VIDEO_TS file you just ripped.. save ALL the language streams during DVD Decrypt by the way!!! Choose the newly created VIDEO_TS folder created above and click main movie, language you use, default angle 1 and then start. nothing to it.
When you burn in NERO.. (only one I know) Choose UDF/ISO level 1, ISO 9660 NO Joliet (macintosh compatibilit format) in UDF choose 1.02.. however I have had success with UDF 2.01 as well.
Click new.. click and drop the empty AUDIO_TS folder into compilation, and the now filled VIDEO_TS folder onto compilation and if it was a really big movie, make sure to use good media.. in fact use good media any way !!
Should work with all the sound now. It will create a set of .VOB .IFO and .BUP files in the VIDEO_TS folder, all DVD compliant...burn.

@3ver
Have you tried using the audio button on your remote to see if anything happens? If you have audio playing through PowerDVD, It should have audio on your standalone. If you still have the original DVD (you should), does its DTS track play on your standalone?

P.S.
If you want to add labels to your DVDs, only use CAPITAL letters and numbers and _ .
