I'm doing a Movie called Wasabi, it's only 4GB. The original disc had a VIDEO_TS AND A JACKET_P directory which I ripped to my hard drive. After the ripping was complete, I created an image file with IMGTools .89. Then I burned the img file with DVD Decrypter 3.1.4.0. After the burning was complete, I checked the burned DVD menus on my computer and everything looked fine. I put the DVD into an APEX 1500 and a Philips Q35 DVD player and found that when the menu section appears, it instantly goes away and all that is left is a black screen. If I press play, I can go straight into the movie. If I press play then press menu, the menu appears for a second and disappears again.
Thinking that maybe it's an image problem, I created a new image with WinISO 5.3 which gave me the same exact problems on my home players. Has anyone else experience this type of problem when there was no transcoding or encoding? I don't understand why this movie would have any problems when it appears to be an exact copy.
Please advise.
