Why is it important to bash DVD2One or InstantCopy...? If you like IC wonderful for you... If you like DVD2One great... I am cracking up that someone would actually get emotional about a piece of software as if it really matters...

HEY MODERATORS... how about doing as others have suggested and split IC and DVD2One into their own categories so like minded people can help each other and put a stop to this childish software bashing we have been seeing...?

Regards... Jeff

Am I the only one who can't figure out how that reply relates to the thread?

Got me wondering too. As for splitting the forum, speak to Doom9, not us mods.

The size issue has been covered in many threads, fiddle with the options to get the size you want.

mpucoder - could you please point out these threads? I've not noticed any which resolve this problem. After IC Analyses the dvd is says it too big to fit on a dvdr. Even if i use the f5 trick to enable the 'ok' button it still pops up the 'too big to fit on dvdr' message :(

I was reading a thread on the forum where people were going back and forth trashing one software or the other... One person even wrote "IC is CRAP..." Others suggested it should stop... I wanted to say what I said...

BUT... as I had just recently deleted all cookies on my computer, when I went to post a reply, the forum took me to the sign in screen... I signed in... it then took me to a blank screen to type my post... I did... I submitted it... and it showed up in THIS THREAD...

That said, my point stands... but for the life of me I couldn't tell you guys why it ended up in this thread...

Regards... Jeff

Then most music dvds are 4:3 full screen and interlaced video. In such case you cannot get acceptable quality with IC7 if the concert longer then 100min (with DVD2one perhapers only 80min).
For such long concert you have 2 choices:
1. split it to 2 DVD-R
2. re-encode it with CCE and evtl. with deinterlacing filter(sometimes only with denoising filter could be enough).
