Divx 5.0.3 and 1 pass mode question.

Hi,

i have made some tests on the 1pass mode and can some one could explain me the differences between the :

- 1 pass mode
and
- original 1 pass mode

i suppose the original work like in the 5.0.2 version but the 1 pass mode is it better ? because i always have a file bigger than with the original 1 pass. any opinion it welcome.

1-pass use quants=1 if you specify high bitrate.

I'm mostly lurking nowadays. I read the forums as much as I can (usually between classes) but don't post as much as I used to. Real life is keeping me more than busy, so I hardly have any time to encode/test anymore.

But I believe Manono, Hakko504 (btw, have you put up residence here? everytime I'm on I see you logged in as well ;)) and Jggimi are doing a very good job without me anyway :D.
