Hi Everyone.
Ripped Titanic to HD using guides and DVD Decryper.
Then used Instant Copy to go from HD to HD to convert into PDI image.
Instead of just one long PDI file (it is an NFTS drive) I got
Titanic.PDI
Titanic.PDI01
Titanic.PDI02
Titanic.PDI03
Titanic.PDI04....All five files were 099.gb each (mabye the last one was shorter). I would have expected just one long PDI file ??
Secondly, I tried using PDI2ISO Titanic.pdi Titanic.ISO and it stops with the dos screen error:
$Id: pdi2iso.c,v 1.2 (date) (time) smurf exp $
So WTF am I doing wrong ??
TIA

Hi Tiff,
the $Id-message is not an error, it is the version information of the program that helps me to track errors. Any (in the view of the user) meaningful error messages come after this identifier.
The program should now print the input files followed by lines of dots. If not, please append the whole output that I might track the error.
B.t.w., I released a newer version of program that identifies itself with the banner
$Id: pdi2iso.c,v 1.3 2003/02/16 18:52:23 smurf Exp smurf $
The output of that version is correctly padded and "burner"-friendly.
Schlaufer (pdi2iso author).
P.S.: If you want to access the files inside the .pdi-archive use PDIxtract (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=46206) instead.
pdi2iso ABANDONED
there is a new version of pdixtract combined with a GUI frontend, called PDITool, you can find and discuss it here (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=47259).

Hi Schlaufer

Ok where can I download the updated file from?
>>P.S.: If you want to access the files inside the .pdi-archive use PDIxtract instead.
But everytime I click on this link to download PDIxtract (using Flashget) It tries to download a file called VirtualDubMod_0.1a.zip
and then stops. I cannot seem to download PDIxtract. I have even tried to uninstall Flashget, but still does not work.
Instead of just one long PDI file (it is an NFTS drive) I got

Titanic.PDI02
Titanic.PDI03
Titanic.PDI04....All five files were 099.gb each (mabye the last one was shorter). I would have expected just one long PDI file ??
Is this correct, or should it be ONE long PDI file??
If the above is correct, does PDI2ISO covert them all into one ISO file?
Thanks for your help.

@Tiffany
Read the "sticky" post at the top of the forum!
"Sticky: InstantCopy 7 helper programs"
It has all the program threads listed. You mat need to turn off download managers.
