I am trying to backup the Windtalkers DVD! I am using the F5 button to oversize the dvd since previous attempts were giving me 3.96GB iso file. Now by stripping everything down and keeping only the main movie and main AC3 file and Subs @100% compression (which means that there is no encoding needed!!) i am left with a 4.45GB file according to the IC. An hour or so later I am left with an iso of 4.16GB, why? Where these 300MBs difference gone during the backup.

Example of IC cell set of main movie:
Video data size: 3.86GB (5.26GB)
Transcoded size: 3.86GB (4.36GB)

I should be having an ISO of 4.36GB in size + the video track's size 98MBs@30% encoding (from 279MBs original size) Total size 4.45GBs or so. Can someone explain?

I too have noticed when I strip all audio apart from 5.1 I get a file smaller, and also by around 300MB

I now just use the oversize and make it around the 4.75Gb mark to fix this bug in IC

does this have anything to do with the bug before regarding files bigger than 4.37Gb when using IC and now Pinnacle have gone the other way when they fixed it with the update?
