dummy vobs?

Please don't kill me because I know this has been discussed before, but I can't find the post where this is explained in detail.
Synopsis: i want to remove trailers from films in a Walt Disney DVD, and simply removing them breaks the navigation structure of the DVD.
Looks like what I must do is replace the vobs with the trailers with dummy ones containing the commands inside but not the trailers... but how can I convert my vob files with trailers to vob files without trailers?

this depends if u have a dvd that has the trailers on the same vts with the movie which means its a multi pgc or u the trailes + extras r located in a diferent set.
In the first case I dont c another way than demux the elements of the vobs and reauthor them using dummy files for the extras.
In the second case u just replace the vobs with dummy ones and u use the ifoupdate afterwards to correct them.
