Hi there,

I've made two DivX using GKnot 0.27 and DivX Pro 5.0.2. When my friends see them on their PC , they cannot see the video synched with audio (video is slower). How to handle this ? Thanks a lot

try CBR audio. Read the FAQ's available in the Audio Encoding forum (http://forum.doom9.org/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=11) and the lame docs on how to get this. What PC's does your friends have? Are they powerful enough to decode the video at correct speed? (P3/400Mhz is usually a minimum)

Hi and welcome to the forum.

What PC's does your friends have?

That was my thought also. Do the movies play in synch on your computer? Then perhaps their computers aren't powerful enough. Make sure they turn off all post-processing. If they're using the DivX decoder, they might try ffdshow. And I believe that the BS Player uses less computer resources than any other player.

they can see properly other DivXs. I think the problem is the audio bitrate (VBR against CBR) ... if they install LAME ACM will they solve it ?

How is the Decoder configuration? You should pull down the quality level to 0. And maybe the screen resolution to 800x600 or even below.
