HI!

I use the DVD9->DVD5 (backup guide latest) to backup my movies and
i have a problem when i dont keep all subtitles..
etc...Ronin have 14 subtitles and i want to keep 2 only...
In the orginal DVD the subs are int this order
1.English
2.German
3.Spanish
4.Dutch
5.Finnish
6.Swedish
7.Norweigan
8.Danish
9.Portuguese
10.French
11.Itialian
12.Polish
13.English (Hard of hearing)
14.German(again)
I authored the DVD with scenarist and keep the English and Swedish subs...(in that order)
But when i play my "backupmovie" the englsih sub play when i choose english(thats ok)..but i have to choose german sub to play the swedish sub...everything plays correct if i choose "copy audio and subpicture tables"..but thats not recomended in the guide(not on Thrilight guide either!..)
i have this problem on every movie i backup if i dont keep all subs and put them in the right order...so what else can i do??..dummysubs?

Hi,

If you use DVD Decrypter to rip the DVD you can remap subtitle streams. So you can change the swedish stream to nr. 2 which is now german.

Don't know if this gets you into trouble elsewhere in the process though...
