What is the best to rip your DVD to HD, to use it afterwards in Instant Copy. Or Does it not matter with what app you rip?

Because if i choose file or ISO mode in DVD Decrypter, alot of DVD's will not be ripped to HD because I get This Error:

Brute Force Cracking Failed
Device: [0:0:0] JLMS DVD ROM blabla
Reason: There Were No Vulnerable Blocks

While SmartRipper always rips the complete DVD to HD, no probs then.
Please leme know

I am pretty new to this but have you tried playing your dvds in your pc with power-dvd or windvd for a few seconds as this unlocks some vobs. are your aspi drivers installed, and with dvd decrypter in the css tab under settings mine is set to I/0 key excahnge-> brute force
io hope this helps if not i'm sure someone else will know

Everybody around seems to agree DVDDecrypter is THE tool to use, although I've been employing SmartRipper for 2 years now and it has *never* ever failed. SmartRipper forever! :D

This thread should be in the Decrypting forum :)

Let's answer the basic question and then I'll close this.

It does not matter to InstantCopy, use whatever gets the DVD ripped properly as files.
