I downloaded a trial copy from one of the forum threads over the weekend which was around 14MB in size. Having satisfied myself it works OK I have now (finally) ordered the unlock code from the VOB site (yes it is finally working now). However my 15 day demo does not have an "unlock" button with which to supply the code.
Have now resorted to dowmloading the trial version from the vob site which is significantly smaller in size (5MB) in the hope this will have the requisite unlock feature. Question is - what is the difference between the two versions - why the huge difference in size? I do not want to find out that the smaller version has less features / functions. Can someone please explain.
Thanks

You got the worg version!
InstantCopy 6.5 has the size of ~5MB.
So please contact pinnacle to get the right URL for your download!
By the way, have a look at hxxp://wxw.vob.de/download/InstantCopy.zip
There you get a full version only serial number you need to unlock!!!

The 5mb VOB version is old, does not unlock with the code they email you and looks and works completely different to the 15Mb version with Pinnacle logos on. Basically there is total chaos on the Pinnacle and Vob sites at the moment with locked out links which I have complained about at the Pinnacle UK and German offices. When I get some coherant answers I will post for everyone.
YET ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF A COMPLETELY BODGED PRODUCT RELEASE FROM A WELL KNOWN VENDOR WHO SHOULD KNOW HOW TO DO IT PROPERLY. UNBLEIEVABLE.

I don't know why you say that, the VOB site clearly states "version 6.5", you should know you want version 7.
I will agree that more retail outlets should have InstantCopy 7, and that the only one we seem to have found has depleted their inventory. Just the demand on their server (apparently more than it could handle) should have told them the product was in high demand.

Hi mpucoder,
I see your point about checking version first. However, the inconsistencies on the Pinnacle and Vob sites were not exactly helpful. Pinnacle have tidied up their site references.
