dvd2svcd and dolby sound 5.1 help please

does dvd2svcd keep the sound at dd 5.1? i was just wondering im choosing the sound it checks off, then when i play on standalone, i also have a dd/dts receiver but comes up 2 channel, am i doing something wrong on the program? thank you all who can help

You should really search the forum before posting.
In short the audio is not Dolby Digital. At best it's mpeg 5.1 and that is very rare that you would get it working.
Save yourself the headache and leave it at stereo. It doesn't sound any better in mpeg 5.1 anyway.
