You all appear to do much better than me. My first attempt - three coasters. The second , 2 CDs with audio sync problems and 2/3 of a movie.
The situation is very annoying. The movies that I am trying to backup are about 140 to 180 min long. Most of them have 5 or more VOB files. The last movie I tried to backup had 5 VOB files (acutal runtime of 2:37:40 per WinDvd). The ripper shows all 5 VOB files, but the time shown in is only shown as 1:31:26 - (that is just 3 VOB files) and I let DVD2SVCD do its thing, and DVD2SVCD made 2 sets of bin/cue files -but it was only 2/3 of the movie. I used Nero to burn and the Picture quality is fantastic (CCE 2.5), but there there is some audio sync problem. How can I make the program see all 5 files? I did try something different, added all 5 vob files into DVD2AVI. It did make an XYZ.AC3 file and XYZ.d2v file, I assume of all 5 vob files.
Is there any way to make DVD2SVCD start from this point?
or is there another way? Any help appreciated!! Thanks.

You could always try posting your logfile.
that way there is a chance to identify what went wrong. ;)

Have you tried to play the ripped VOB's in WinDVD or PowerDVD to see if all of the movie was ripped to begin with?

Yes I have gone into the Movie Directory (DVD2SVCD) and all Vob files play with WinDvd.

If I just ask to rip, it just rips the first 3 vob files. I used Smartrip by itself, and it ripped all 5 vob files. Now what? I input the files into DVD2AVI and it did make two files, one AC3 and one d2v file. I don't know whether the all the vob files were done. In the DVD2SVCD automated format, it only converts 3 of the 5 vob files, and with some audio sync problems.
