OK.. this one is a puzzler.. went thru the transcode process with no problems, but when trying to burn, it will ALWAYS fail with a 'device time out' at anywhere form 3% to 60%
Win2000
Pioneer A03
256meg
I can burn discs all day long without problem with Prassi/Nero/DVD Decrypter... but this goes in the dumper..
any ideas??

You bet buddy, thank god I'm not the only one ! Every time, it will start the burn then end with this message - "An error occured while writing track 1 at position 2704. Extended information: # Device Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-104 HARDWARE ERROR: LOGICAL UNIT COMMUNICATION TIME-OUT"..
Now I can write discs all day long using Nero similar to Rombaldi, so this is very strange... I have tried diff DVD-RW's , I ruined a Ritek G03 disc...
Anyone else having this problem ?
The image creation onto hard drive goes without a hitch.. I even deleted the previous image and started from scratch and same problem...
Cheers

Fletch...
glad I'm not alone... I think?
I have defragged the drive,
moved the image files to another drive (NTFS vs Fat32)
switched it to ASPI from ATASPI?
next one to try is to switch the drive to PIO from DMA (I seem to remember something about that in the back of my mind..)
if anyone comes up with an idea, please SING OUT!

Well, turning DMA off dosen't solve the problem.. infact, with DMA off it can't even SEE the A03...
time to move the files across the network and see of the LF-321 will work...
