I've just created a SVCD of a 2:30 movie using CCE and 4-pass. Everything else is left unchanged. This takes ~15 hours. On an earlier creation, with the same movie but using TMPGEnc as the encoder, it only takes ~12 hours. Is there anything wrong with my settings? Cause I thought that I read CCE is supposed to be quite faster than TMPG when it comes to encoding. I'm running a AMD Athlon 1.2GHz, with 512mb PC133 RAM, 20gigs free harddrive, WinXP Pro SP1. I can post the log file for the CCE creation if needed. thanks for any input.
