Is there any way to AutoCrop and Autoresize?

Is there anyway to use AutoCrop filter along with a resize filter that will succesfully crop and resize with no extra calculations?

Can someone write a script?

I don't follow. How would a program know what size you want to resize to?

What about providing the aspect ratio and the width? then everything else will be calculated...

I believe SansGrip has created something like that.

I've not used it myself but you might find it useful. SansGrip seems to have gone MIA so I don't know if there are any bugs etc.
