I've read that updating the sony dru500a with firmware 1.0f will increase write speed to 2x on some dvd-r's. I just checked sony's support site and they now have firmware 1.0g. Is this better and/or will it still write at 2x? Or do I have to download the 1.0f version? Thanks in advance!
